August 19-21 is the annual meeting of the Association for the Sociology of Religion, which is taking place this year in Seattle.
Dr. Donnelly is a proud member of the organization, and is participating in two panels during the conference. On Sunday afternoon at 12:45, she'll present a paper on marriage equality on the island of Ireland and how the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland is so significant in the conversation. Directly after, she's participating in an author-meets-critic panel for Mark A. Smith's Secular Faith: How Culture Has Trumped Religion in American Politics.
Copies of Dr. Donnelly's remarks will be posted here on the website after the conference.
