29 Mar Book Review – Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender
Dr. Kristen shares her thoughts on Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender. Felix is is a transgender teen in a competitive art school who finds himself under attack by an anonymous harasser who deadnames him and publicly posts pictures of him from before his transition. In trying to track down the source of the attacks, he finds himself caught up in more complications than he expected. This excellent empathy read explores teenage-hood, relationships – romantic and familial – and Felix’s own ongoing relationship with his own identity.
