The good news is ... we're here to help!

Introducing our new workshop package ...

On the Importance of Trampolines:

Understanding Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is the business buzzword that everyone uses and few people know what it means. Perhaps, more importantly, we feel too many people don't know why it's important to their organizational culture.

We know that when your staff can communicate effectively and clearly with each other it can foster a sense of teamwork and prevent office conflicts. But we also know that this is a difficult goal to achieve. Which is why we've created this workshop package.

With our workshops we will train you and your staff to have more transparent and productive conversations - leading you to healthier relationships. We guarantee that our workshop package will help you take control of toxic relationships, help build a supportive culture, and put a stop to needless turnover.

What's included in the package?

  • 3 on-site workshop trainings tailored to your organizational needs.
  • Additional company specific resources to help you through the trainings and prepare you to implement immediate and impactful changes.
  • Unlimited email and Voxer support from both The Good Doctors throughout the training period and for 3 months after.

What can you expect from the workshops?

We use the model of an hourglass to structure the three workshops. This means that the first workshop will start with the more generic information you need to know about emotional intelligence. The second workshop will move to the specific.

This is where we will speak directly to the most important issues facing your organization. This session will be based off data we collect from you and your staff - as well as our own research into your specific problems. The third workshop will end with action. In this workshop you will be given immediate and long-term actionable steps to make you and your staff more empathetic and understanding.

The Emotional Intelligence Hourglass

Let's drill down to specifics for

our 3 workshop package.

  • Workshop 1: This session will start with group work and self-assessment, so we can see what's working and what's not. Then we'll move on to our famed EQ Bingo ice-breaker activity! During this workshop Dr. Kristen will also present her trampoline model for understanding emotional intelligence. In this presentation she uses the concept of a trampoline - the bast, the springs, the bouncy bit, and the net - to describe how you can better understand your motivations, goals, and perceptions. This will prepare you for the self-work - called reflexivity - that acts as the transition from Workshop 1 to 2.
  • Workshop 2: This session will start with a review of the reflexive 'homework' from the first workshop. Workshop 2 will focus on teaching you the practice of non-judgement - with an emphasis on building empathy. This is especially important when you are leading or managing a group of diverse individuals. The workshop will include both solo and group work geared toward learning more about yourself and the people you work with. We will spend considerable time on the concept of active listening, as well as other key qualities of emotionally intelligent people.
  • Workshop 3: After reviewing your 'homework' from Workshop 2, this session will focus on teaching you pragmatic tools for ensuring an emotionally intelligence organization. We will help you practice conversations - where you use your new skills in empathy to communicate clearly and effectively. The workshop will be action oriented, meaning each element will guide you towards direct action you can take. We will provide you with immediate, short-term, and long-term goals and actions. This will ensure that you leave the final workshop ready to implement immediate and long-lasting change in your organization.

A stable and supportive culture is priceless ...

but the workshop package isn't!

The value of these trainings is $15,000+ BUT the investment is only $5,000!

What are people saying about our workshops?

Participant Feedback

I recently had the pleasure of engaging Kristen and Erin for a workshop on emotional intelligence at our company's annual team event. We have had speakers at these meetings before, but this presentation was the most interesting one we've had yet. Kristen and Erin have a wonderful rapport with each other and the audience. The 90 minutes flew by, filled with interesting, entertaining and educational takeaways. I walked away smiling and really thinking about how we communicate as a team and how I can and should relate with people in my work life and beyond. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking to engage their team, address conflict or just get their team communicating in a healthier way to consider bringing these two professionals into their fold. Thank you both for a great session!
